As Camden County High School prepares to welcome Wildcat fans for Friday night’s home football game, Camden County Schools is reminding students, families, and guests of important game day expectations designed to provide a safe, orderly, and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Families and students attending home football games should review the following expectations before arriving at the stadium:
Adult Supervision:
Elementary and middle school students must enter the stadium with a parent or guardian and remain under adult supervision throughout the event. Unaccompanied elementary and middle school students will not be permitted to enter.
High School Student IDs:
High school students attending independently must present a valid school-issued student ID at the gate to purchase a student ticket or enter the game.
Remain in Spectator Areas:
Students and guests should remain in designated spectator areas during the game. Congregating or loitering in concourses, restrooms, parking lots, or other areas before, during, or after the game is not permitted.
Clear Bag Procedure and Security Screening:
The district’s clear bag procedure remains in effect for home athletic events. All guests should also be prepared to complete security screening, including the use of weapons detection systems, upon entry.
Student Discipline:
Students who are suspended or expelled from school may not attend extracurricular activities or school-sponsored events during the period of their disciplinary consequence.
This Friday is also Middle School Night, and Camden County Schools looks forward to welcoming our middle school students and families to support the Wildcats. Middle school students attending the game must still enter with a parent or guardian and remain under adult supervision throughout the event.
We appreciate the cooperation of our students, families, staff, and community members in following these expectations and helping make Friday nights at Chris Gilman Stadium safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Dear SMMS Parents and Guardians,
Golden Isles Youth Orchestra will be offering a weekly group violin class to interested students in grades 6th thru 8th, beginning Friday, September 18th, 2026, during WIN Time.
Registration for the class is on a first-first served basis. The class caps at 20 students.
Registration will close Wednesday, September 16th, 2026.

On Friday, the 25th Anniversary of September 11, Ms. Rou’s class made memorial feathers to represent a Phoenix, rising out of the ashes. The class watched a short video, had a brief discussion, then made the feathers. It was a day to remember, even though these 6th grade students were not there to experience the pain felt that day.
SMMS Athletics Schedule for 9/14-18.
Our 6th grade students completed a skittles activity for our statistics unit. Students used the skittles to collect the frequency at which each color appeared in their packs. They analyzed their data by creating a dot plot to describe the shape and spread of their data, then found the mean, median, mode, and range to gauge whether each color equally showed up in their packs. Thank you to PAWS PTO and families for donating the Skittles for this fun project!

St. Marys Middle School will host the Annual Title I meeting at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. All parents and community members are invited to attend the meeting, which will be held in the 7th grade planning room at St. Marys Middle School, 205 Martha Drive, St. Marys, GA 31558. The purpose of the meeting is to share the Family Engagement Plan, School-Parent Compact, and the Title I budget. All items will also be posted to the school website, Facebook, and sent out via E-blast. A school-parent compact will be sent home mid-October to be reviewed, signed, and returned. The Annual Title I presentation will be posted on the school website.

8th grader Abigail Quigley taught a lesson on digital design in the Writers Workshop. Students are designing and personalizing their digital writing journals in Mrs. Solano's WIN time.
Our emphasis for attendance continues in the month of September. Bobcats Show Up. Monday is a career day dress up day. Students are encouraged to dress up for a career field they aspire to be in one day.
